Name: Emma Rainer Car: Mini City E

I bought my Mini back in 2009, much to my dad’s shock at the state she was in when I got her home. We have managed to totally restored her – it’s taken a while as we’ve done the whole project ourselves, but she’s now ready for the world to see and hopefully enjoy as much as we do! We started on the driver’s side and worked our way round. She’s had a new offside wing, scuttle corner and under panels, inner and outer sills and jacking points both sides. There was no boot floor or rear valance, so that’s all new too. It’s safe to say she wasn’t in the best state, that’s for sure! We believe the previous owners had used her for trackdays so she was bashed about quite a bit too. We decided to paint her cream and burgundy, which was all done at home by my dad and I, and she has a black trim around the bottom and a thin black line between the two colours. Engine wise, she’s got a new radiator, alternator, ignition coil and distributor. We’ve had the cylinder head off for a clean and she’s had a full service, passing her MoT test first time at the end of July.

Chunky 10- inch Revoltion alloys.

Emma's Mini is a two- tone beauty.
