ENGINE 1275cc A-Series Cooper S engine rebuilt to original specification but with balanced crankshaft, con-rods and flywheel, 12G1805 11-stud head, twin HS2 1.25-inch carburettors with factory airbox, oil cooler, original dynamo, twin fuel tanks. Power (factory figure) 76bhp.
TRANSMISSION Rebuilt four-speed Cooper S close-ratio gearbox with remote change, Hardy Spicer outputs, 3.44:1 final drive ratio.
SUSPENSION Original Hydrolastic set-up converted to accept dry rubber springs, telescopic dampers.
BRAKES 7.5-inch Cooper S disc assemblies (front) and spacer drums (rear), type 6 servo.
