EN­GINE 1275cc A-Se­ries Cooper S en­gine re­built to orig­i­nal spec­i­fi­ca­tion but with bal­anced crank­shaft, con-rods and fly­wheel, 12G1805 11-stud head, twin HS2 1.25-inch car­bu­ret­tors with fac­tory air­box, oil cooler, orig­i­nal dy­namo, twin fuel tanks. Power (fac­tory fig­ure) 76bhp.

TRANS­MIS­SION Re­built four-speed Cooper S close-ra­tio gear­box with re­mote change, Hardy Spicer out­puts, 3.44:1 fi­nal drive ra­tio.

SUS­PEN­SION Orig­i­nal Hy­dro­las­tic set-up con­verted to ac­cept dry rub­ber springs, tele­scopic dampers.

BRAKES 7.5-inch Cooper S disc as­sem­blies (front) and spacer drums (rear), type 6 servo.
