Name: Colin Gilks Car: 1974 1275 GT Location: Worcestershire
This is Colin’s 1275 GT, that he completely restored himself. Outside, this GT has been deseamed front and rear and a body kit fitted. The finishing touch is the distinctive Reynard Bronze paint job, which is a tribute to the Clubman shell that was pulled from the Longbridge tunnels a while back. Inside, the highlight of this Mini must be the seats, which Colin tells us came from another Longbridge produced car, the MG ZR. More interestingly, Colin’s 1275 GT matches his own birth month and year – it’s his pride and joy and will never be sold.

Body kit looks smart.
