Monthly Chronicle - - Letters to the Editor -

Dear Editor,

I have been very impressed to read of the many outstanding results from both public and private school students in year 12 this year. There has been much criticism of the education system and teachers and quoting some below average results from Australian students, compared to several overseas countries.

The results that have been published from year 12 students living on the North Shore are definitely well above average and indicate that the teachers and students are both conscientious and successful. It is also pleasing that these students also participate regularly in a wide of sporting, cultural and volunteering activities using the excellent facilities available in both Ku ring gai and Hornsby.
