Monthly Chronicle - - Business & Personal Finance - PRESENTER Steve Cole Partner Enspira Financial

Do you want to start or grow a business? If so, the first thing you will need is a plan. Developing an effective business plan doesn’t need to be daunting! In fact, simple and intuitive plans are often the most successful. While you may need a formal business plan for the bank or investors, for your own purposes, the task need not be so onerous. It is the ideas and strategies behind your objectives that are important. The more succinct the description, the more engaging your plan will be. The process of developing a plan is powerful in itself because the act of articulating information about your business, why it works and what is happening in the environment it operates within, helps you see more clearly. The process of collaboration enables you to identify opportunities, clarify your ideas and integrate good ideas from others into your plan. Most of us require a little outside input in the business third party provides a good sounding board and may suggest business ideas we hadn’t thought of ourselves.
