Archie’s birth was pretty difficult. I was a week overdue, and then booked in to be induced, but I actually went into labour naturally in the middle of the night. I still went into the hospital and got induced, just to speed things up. We all thought the birth was going to happen pretty quickly, then I got to about eight centimetres and I stayed at that for a few hours. Then the doctor realised my baby was stuck and posterior, so we were all waiting for him to turn – but he didn’t. I ended up having an emergency caesarean.
