safety tips

Mother & Baby (Australia) - - Special Report -

Here’s what to tell your kids to help them stay safe when they’re lost, especially at crowded places such as shopping centres or cinemas.

“Stay right where you are to give me a chance to find you.” “Call out to me by my first name.” “Stay in an area where there are lots of people around.”

“If you need help, ask a mum with kids, a person wearing a uniform or someone who works there.”

It’s vital children know both parents’ full names, their home address and at least one phone number. Tell them to only give these details to someone from security, a police officer or a person who works there. With older kids, organise a prearranged meeting point or teach them to find the information desk. Visit www.danielmorcombe.com.au.
