Avoid soft drinks, high carbohydrate sugary foods and acidic foods and drinks.
Toddlers should brush twice a day with a children’s fluoridated toothpaste. The use of a children’s electric toothbrush, such as the Philips Sonicare for Kids is recommended after the age of four.
REGULAR DENTIST VISITS:
This shows toddlers that it’s not scary. Bring your child to the dentist when you would normally go. This gets kids into a good routine and minimises the risk of future apprehension.
