Follow these steps to ease teething pain

Mother & Baby (Australia) - - Real Advice -

Once teething begins, be prepared for a grumpy bub, with extra dribbling, red gums, face rubbing and ear grabbing.

Rinsing a clean face washer and placing it in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour will give your baby something to chew on, and the cold temperature will soothe tender or swollen gums.

If your baby is old enough for solids, offer a teether, store-bought or homemade rusks or sugar-free biscuits to chomp on. The hard texture encourages chewing, which is also great for your bub’s gum and jaw development.

Gently rub your finger or a cold spoon over his gums to temporarily soothe pain.
