If you fancy eat­ing some­thing, and it’s safe in preg­nancy, try it, even if it’s not what you would usu­ally choose. While fatty and greasy foods are gen­er­ally best avoided, be guided by what your body is telling you. Bread, bis­cuits, crack­ers and dry toast are gen­tler on the stom­ach. And small, fre­quent doses of carbs, such as pop­corn and pret­zels, will help sta­bilise your blood sugar.
