G’day, love the magazine. Especially for its diversity and content on different performance cars.
I’m writing in response to Peter Judd’s email in the October issue. I myself drive a modified Focus ST that has in excess of 400Nm. It’s front-wheel drive and I enjoy the extra input required to drive such cars. Accelerating in first or second gear is a tyre-shredding exercise. What makes it fun is the acceleration and response in gears three, four, and five. However, it does take a particular skill to accelerate without wheelspin. But I call this fun! Mike Vos, via email
