Buller seals sports deal

THE fu­ture of In­ter­school snow sports has been se­cured for Mt Buller.

Mt Buller In­ter­schools As­so­ci­a­tion di­rec­tors Joel Dixon, Lau­rie Blampied, Buller Ski Lifts gen­eral man­ager, John Hu­ber, ARMB chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer and in­au­gu­ral chair­per­son of the In­ter­schools As­so­ci­a­tion, John Perks, signed an agree­ment on Mon­day to con­tinue the an­nual cham­pi­onships on the moun­tain, keep­ing the sport in Vic­to­ria.

The Buller In­ter­schools As­so­ci­a­tion is a not-for-profit or­gan­i­sa­tion that was formed by the Mt Buller and Mt Stir­ling Alpine Re­sort Man­age­ment Board, Buller Ski Lifts, Mt Buller Cham­ber of Com­merce and the Mt Buller Ratepay­ers As­so­ci­a­tion to act as cus­to­dian of the cur­rent Vic­to­rian In­ter­schools Host­ing Agree­ment.

With sig­nif­i­cant con­tri­bu­tions from all stake­hold­ers the as­so­ci­a­tion aims to make the event an af­ford­able and ac­ces­si­ble op­por­tu­nity for all Vic­to­rian stu­dents to cre­ate life­long snow sports en­thu­si­asts.
