THE future of Interschool snow sports has been secured for Mt Buller.
Mt Buller Interschools Association directors Joel Dixon, Laurie Blampied, Buller Ski Lifts general manager, John Huber, ARMB chief executive officer and inaugural chairperson of the Interschools Association, John Perks, signed an agreement on Monday to continue the annual championships on the mountain, keeping the sport in Victoria.
The Buller Interschools Association is a not-for-profit organisation that was formed by the Mt Buller and Mt Stirling Alpine Resort Management Board, Buller Ski Lifts, Mt Buller Chamber of Commerce and the Mt Buller Ratepayers Association to act as custodian of the current Victorian Interschools Hosting Agreement.
With significant contributions from all stakeholders the association aims to make the event an affordable and accessible opportunity for all Victorian students to create lifelong snow sports enthusiasts.
