Easter full of action on Mt Buller

MT BULLER hosted the biggest Easter to date with a record number of visitors in the resort over the long weekend in April.
Families enjoyed Mt Buller’s new Sculpture Park Walk, the Bike Buller Pump Track, kids’ club and much more.
Added to the festivities, visitors enjoyed spectacular weather with sunshine all weekend.
Easter Saturday saw the annual Mountain High Fun Run where runners of all ages and abilities took part and raised much needed funds for the Mansfield District Hospital.
Craig Appleby and Victoria Mitchell were the first male and female to complete the ‘Buller Breaker’, a gruelling 9km course that took in the Summit climb.
The not-so serious participants, including kids and mums with prams, enjoyed the leisurely 3km Village Views course.
Downhill mountain bikers and sightseers made the most of the last weekend of chairlift operations before winter and traditional Easter services were held in the beautiful Mt Buller Chapel.
Easter Sunday was the highlight of the weekend with the Giant Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt.
With a guest appearance from the Easter Bunny and kilos of chocolate, the Village Square was buzzing with excitement.
