KIDS on holidays at Mt Buller can join in an additional activity with a first time holiday program ‘Bricks 4 Kidz’.

Bricks 4 Kidz is an educational children’s program, aimed at ages 3 to 13, whose motto is “we learn, we build, we play with…..LEGO Bricks”.

The program was founded in the United States in 2009 by Michelle Cote, who has designed all of the proprietary model plans using her architecture background.

Since then Bricks 4 Kidz has grown to become the number one Children’s Enrichment Franchise (as ranked by Entrepreneur Magazine) with more than 550 franchises in 27 countries.

New to Australia in 2014, Bricks 4 Kidz has been taken up by local Mansfield operators Joanne O’Brien and Mandy Kynnersley.

With their youngest children soon to be starting school and kinder, the two local mums were looking to return to the workforce “but we wanted to do something that was fun and motivating”.

After researching the franchise industry, Jo discovered the Bricks 4 Kidz phenomenon and knew it was the right fit.

Combining Kynnersley and O’Brien, KynOBi Learning Pty Ltd was born and the two were soon off to the home of Bricks 4 Kidz, Florida USA, to complete their training and become the Master Franchisee for Victoria.

The overall goal is to provide a fun hands-on learning activity for the children where problem solving skills, teamwork, and self-esteem are emphasised and enhanced.

“Bricks 4 Kidz offers an exciting opportunity for the children of Victoria,” said Joanne.

Bricks 4 Kidz will be running a holiday program over the term 2 school holidays on Mt Buller at Alpine Central and Preschool classes and After School classes are scheduled to commence in term 3 in Mansfield.
