YOUR muscles are aching, that knee injury is playing up and you just feel out of alignment.

It’s been a great season and you’re basically fit, but you want to feel fabulous.

Mt Buller Myotherapy could be just what you need to help you to tone up your body and smooth away those aches and pains.

Zoe and Madison claim a strong track record with patients experiencing positive results after therapy for a range of muscular skeletal conditions.

The girls can also be seen laying down strong ‘first tracks’ after Buller’s best snow dumps, so they know how you feel and what you need.

Why choose myotherapy to ease your aches and pains?

Zoe explained that myotherapy (muscle therapy) is a form of manual therapy that treats and helps prevent soft tissue pain and restricted joint movement.

“Myotherapy incorporates trigger point therapy and a wide range of soft tissue massage and manipulation, dry needling, cupping and joint mobilisation,” Zoe said.

“We also use stretching, prescribed exercises, postural advice and heat and cold ther- apy to target specific muscle areas.”

Zoe added that myotherapists give a special, very deep tissue massage which can be painful during the treatment, but because the therapist is always interacting and gauging just how much pressure the patient can take, they end up achieving optimal release and relief from pain.

Also a qualified yoga and Pilates teacher, Zoe is passionate about helping athletes build up their strength through these effective exercise practices.

“Both yoga and Pilates give clients the ability to rehab through strength and stretching programs, enabling optimal recovery from injuries, chronic pain, acute flairs and many other conditions,” said Zoe.

Zoe, who has skied Buller since she was five years old, worked at the Whitt, now heads up the ‘Rehab & Relax’ centre at Mt Buller Gym, level one at Alpine Central.
