Selling fast and breaking records
THE Alpine property market is as strong as it has ever been.
The standout resorts are Mt Buller, Dinner Plain and Mt Hotham.
Buller is recording sales in the Whitehorse development of up to $2.8m marking record transactions for Victoria.
Stages 1- 4 have sold out in Whitehorse making a total of 12 very significant record sales.
Buller will see significant construction this summer, in fact more development than all of the other mountains combined.
Wyndham hotel chain have now purchased over 45 existing properties in Dinner Plain and are reporting record occupancy.
Wyndham is the largest hotel operator in the world and their investment in the Victorian Alps is testimony as to how good our high country experience is in Victoria.
The other news is the auction by Mt Hotham Ski Company of the 21 allotments.
These auctions include the highest freehold allotments in Australia.
Reserves will be from $100,000.
Skiers have had a fantastic season in fact the best in 35 years.
The alpine property market is also strong and will continue to lift as the new developments are very finite as simply put there is little or no land available to develop.
MODERN INTERIOR: Although a long established lodge, the Sundowner has been modernised and thoroughly maintained throughout its lifetime.
