– SUPT JEF­FEREY PHILIPPI Druitt com­man­der Su­per­in­ten­dent Jef­ferey Philippi deemed the first Youth CAPP a suc­cess.

“We are very pleased with how it went, ob­vi­ously we hope to fine­tune it based on the feed­back we get,” Supt Philippi said.

“We hope to run a few of th­ese a year and we also have plans to en­gage the busi­ness com­mu­nity too.”

Rooty Hill’s St Agnes Catholic High School stu­dent Max­ine Bu­cud, 15, said she was in­ter­ested to learn more about po­lice work.

“I am most look­ing for­ward to hear­ing more about do­mes­tic vi­o­lence and foren­sics,” Max­ine said.
