Ex­cited kids give show a big high five

CHIL­DREN’S en­ter­tain­ers Hi-5 de­lighted fans at West­field Mt Druitt on Sun­day.

The band mem­bers per­formed for hun­dreds of chil­dren at the cen­tre.

Among the ex­cited crowed was Wil­liam Reyes and his daugh­ter Wi­nona Reyes, 5.

Mr Reyes said they’ve only been in Australia for a year af­ter mov­ing from Dubai.

“Even in Dubai she was a big fan, she seems to know all the songs,” Mr Reyes said.

“They (Hi-5) were very good and very ap­proach­able.”

Mr Reyes ad­mits he knows most of the songs and dance moves, too.

“My daugh­ter loves them, even the pre­vi­ous cast so yes I am quite familiar,” he said.

The en­er­getic group’s ap­pear­ance comes ahead of a new tour.

The Hi-5 House of Dreams tour prom­ises au­di­ences an in­vi­ta­tion to an ex­cit­ing slum­ber party, where there’s not much sleep­ing but lots of singing and danc­ing.
