HANDBAG THEFT NOT JUST ABOUT CASH

Mt Druitt - St Mary's Standard (East) - - NEWS -

I would like to remind residents to ensure they keep any personal property secure. There have been a number of reported incidents of property particularly mobile phones, bags and handbags being stolen when left unattended in public areas or at business premises. This property has often been left unattended nearby or in an area that can be accessed by many people. We are reminding the community that if you leave property unattended, even for a short time, that it be in a secure area. A handbag not only has cash but often contains items that can be used to commit other types of offences including fraud.
