THE Black Sor­rows are tour­ing again and the iconic ‘80s band are head­ing to Rooty Hill RSL.

Get ready to move and groove to the sounds of their multi-plat­inum tracks Hold On To Me, Har­ley and Rose and The Cho­sen Ones.

If you’re in need of a night out away from the kids, why not en­joy a date night with the band’s new­est line-up.

The band has seen more than 40 Aus­tralian artists join their ranks dur­ing three decades of blues.

This year, the line-up con­sists of Claude Car­ranza on gui­tar/vo­cals, Mark Gray on bass/vo­cals, John McAll on key­boards/vo­cals and An­gus Bur­chall on drums.

The band’s only con­stant mem­ber is the great Joe Camil­leri who was in­ducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007.

De­spite his own song­writ­ing le­gacy, Camil­leri and the cur­rent Black Sor­rows group re­leased two limited edi­tion vinyl LPs called End­less Sleep Chap­ter 46 and Chap­ter 47 which fea­ture cover tracks from var­i­ous iconic blues artists.

“I tip my hat to the spirit of th­ese artists who have in­spired me and give the songs an­other op­por­tu­nity to be heard,” Camil­leri said.

“I’m a dis­ci­ple and it’s a bit of soul food.”

The show will fea­ture the very best of The Black Sor­rows from 8pm on Fri­day night.
