A man has been charged after he allegedly used offensive language, assaulted police and resisted arrest as he was escorted from Plumpton Marketplace on Sunday. Police were conducting patrols when they allegedly heard the Kellyville man, 29, yelling profanities loudly on the phone in front of a group of people. It is further alleged when police asked him to stop swearing, he made several threats to police. He is due to face Mt Druitt Court on July 9.
OXLEY PARK A man, 33, has been charged in relation to a robbery at an Oxley Park business where a man threatened people with a stun gun. About 6.50am last Tuesday, it is alleged that a man armed with a taser entered a business on Sydney St, where he confronted a staff member and made demands. The woman handed over money before he allegedly ran and drove away in a silver vehicle. About 8.40am, police were patrolling Bennett Rd at St Clair when they stopped a car and arrested the driver. It is alleged during a search of the vehicle, police found a stun gun-type device and prohibited drugs. The man was set to face court yesterday.
MT DRUITT A 37-yearold Mt Druitt man will face court next month charged
