with driv­ing with a suspended li­cence. About 1.05pm on Fri­day, the man was driv­ing on Frank St when he was stopped for a ran­dom breath test. When un­able to pro­duce his driver’s li­cence, po­lice con­ducted a num­ber of checks which re­vealed the man’s li­cence was suspended due to fine de­fault.


Druitt po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing af­ter a car was bro­ken into at Leth­bridge Park on Fri­day. About 7.30pm, the owner parked his ve­hi­cle on Lux­ford Rd and when he re­turned he found it had been bro­ken into and rum­maged through.


Mt ST MARYS Two men will face court next month charged with ag­gra­vated break and en­ter af­ter a home was bro­ken into at Wer­ring­ton. About 8.50pm last Wed­nes­day, St Marys po­lice re­sponded to re­ports of peo­ple act­ing sus­pi­ciously near Rance Oval at Wer­ring­ton. Po­lice pa­trolled the area and searched two men. It is al­leged prop­erty, be­lieved to have been stolen, was found and seized by po­lice. The men were re­leased. Fur­ther in­quiries re­vealed a nearby home in Wer­ring­ton had al­legedly been bro­ken into with prop­erty taken – it is al­leged this same prop­erty had been seized by po­lice. The two men were ar­rested at Blax­land be­fore they were re­turned to Pen­rith po­lice sta­tion. A Wer­ring­ton County man and Cam­bridge Gar­den man, both 18, were charged to face Pen­rith Court on July 31.
