1 ST CLAIR Police are appealing for help to locate a man missing from St Clair. Michael Crema, 37, (pictured) was last spoken to on Wednesday and has been uncontactable since. On Saturday, Mr Crema’s family reported him missing to St Marys police. Family and the police hold fears for his safety as this is out of the ordinary for him. He is described as being caucasian in appearance, 175cm tall, large build, with short brown hair and a brown, manicured goatee. Mr Crema may be travelling in a black Holden Commodore with a NSW registration plate BJ72MB.
2 ST MARYS St Marys police are investigating a fire incident after a lounge was set alight out the front of a home on Saddington St at about 2am on Saturday. Fire and Rescue NSW arrived to find neighbours helping the home ‘s occupants trying to extinguish the fire. Firefighters quickly put out the blaze and police seized a number of items for further investigation.
3 TREGEAR Mt Druitt detectives are investigating a robbery at Tregear on Monday. At about 10am, a 16-year-old Tregear youth was walking through a laneway near a unit complex when he was approached by a man riding a bicycle. The teen took out his iPhone from his pocket when asked the time by the man. He was told to hand it over, with the threat of being stabbed if he didn’t comply. He handed over the phone as demanded. The man is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, aged about 18, 170cm tall, wearing black pants and hooded jumper with red stripes along the sleeve. Call 9675 0699 with any information.
4 HEBERSHAM A 34-yearold Hebersham man has been issued a court attendance notice for driving while disqualified. Police say at about 5.15pm on Saturday, the Hebersham man was driving a Toyota Hilux on Welwyn Rd when it was stopped for a random breath test. When asked to produce his licence, the driver allegedly told police did not have one. Police made checks at the scene revealing the man is disqualified from driving until 2016.
5 OXLEY PARK Police are looking for a man who tried to rob another man as he rode his bike along Adelaide St at Oxley Park on Sunday night. About 11.45pm, the offender threatened the bicycle rider while holding an object in his hand. The rider rode off and called police. The offender is described as having a skinny face and wearing dark tracksuit pants.
6 HEBERSHAM A 29year-old Hebersham man was arrested over a conviction warrant by Mt Druitt police at about 8.20am yesterday. It is alleged the man failed to turn up to court charged over a domestic malicious damage incident last month. The man was arrested with bail refused to face Mt Druitt Court.
7 BIDWILL A woman has been charged with assault following an incident on a train at Lidcombe last week. A 15-year-old girl was on a Parramatta to Lidcombe train with friends at about 2pm last Monday, when she was allegedly racially abused by a woman. It’s further alleged that, as the woman was exiting the train, she grabbed the girl and hit her across the face a number of times. The woman and a man she was with then got off the train at Lidcombe at which point the teen and her friends reported the matter to police. Following inquiries by Flemington police, a 34-year-old Bidwill woman attended Mt Druitt police station last Wednesday and was charged with assault, to face Burwood Court yesterday.
