CREATIVITY and fun were the order of the day as the Ropes Crossing Festival entertained more than 2000 residents on the weekend.

The festival celebrated the 10th anniversary of Ropes Crossing with a little help from singer Christine Anu and popular little yellow friends, the Minions.

“It was a great day and showcased the relationships developed over the 10 years between Lendlease and the community including Blacktown Council, Mt Druitt Police, Llandilo Rural Fire Service, Scouts, resident groups and local businesses,” Lendlease Communities NSW/ACT general manager Arthur Ilias said.

Ropes Crossing Church set up a stall and Reverend Peter Wood took to Facebook to thank the community and Lendlease for their support.

“The Ropes Crossing 10th Anniversary was such a great day out with the community,” he said.
