Telstra plan to give free Wi-Fi
BLACKTOWN Council and Telstra have struck a deal that will see free Wi-Fi for five years in Mt Druitt and Blacktown areas.
The carrier will install about 20 public Wi-Fi access points – 15 in Blacktown and five in Mt Druitt.
About 50 people will be able to access the free Wi-Fi at each point for half an hour.
A date for the rollout has not yet been finalised.
