No excuses for drugs

Mt Druitt - St Mary's Standard (East) - - NEWS -

“RE: Ice abuse hits families, ( Mt Druitt-St Marys Standard, June 17).

Drug addiction is not a disease. You choose to take drugs, you don’t choose to get diseases.

I’m sick to death of people saying some people are just not strong enough not to take them (drugs).

Well, some people have been through hell and back – abused, mistreated, hated and raped.

But they don’t take drugs to forget. That’s a load of crap.

People are going through hell everyday and dealing with it without drugs. DIANE BRADBURY-DUNMORE,

via Facebook port starting with “children of ice users go to school hungry.”

The poor sad children. Hungry, lost, confused as they see Mum or Dad, or both, killing themselves on ice.

Yes we all need to work together to find solutions. The best solution by far is to encourage and assist ice addicts to stop taking ice.

As a community, we need to report any person or persons making and selling this insidious drug.

All reports to the police can be anonymous. DAVE VINCENT,

Bidwill
