POSTER GIRL PENS NEW MEMOIR
AUSTRALIA’S country music icon Beccy Cole will be bringing her new book and album to Rooty Hill RSL on Saturday.
Cole is renown for her honesty, which she said allowed her to resonate with audiences around Australia and the world.
Her tenth and most recent album Sweet Rebecca features collaborations with the likes of Melinda Schneider and Cole’s partner Libby O’Donovan.
Since winning the Toyota Star Maker in 1993, Cole has shared the stage with greats including Slim Dusty, Willie Nelson, Lee Kernaghan and Kenny Rogers.
Forever etched in our history as one of the country’s most proficient artists, Cole said her show would be a mix of golden oldies and fresh new songs.
“It’s always been my policy to change it up every tour,” Cole said.

The nine-time golden guitar winning singer has recently finished writing her memoirs, Poster Girl.
Cole said the memoir featured the same candidness she has on stage.
“I think people appreciate honesty,” Cole said.
“I speak quite candidly about things like domestic violence.”
The book will be available for purchase at the Rooty Hill show alongside her tenth album Sweet Rebecca.
Tickets cost $30 per adult and $15 for children over six.
