Bryleeh makes a splash with her friends

YOUNG Sport­ing Spirit nom­i­nee Bryleeh Henry is the epit­ome of sports­man­ship and al­ways look­ing for op­por­tu­ni­ties to push oth­ers to achieve their dreams.

Part of the Bronze Squad at St Marys Rip­ples Swimming Cen­tre, she is a cham­pion in the wa­ter mas­ter­ing ev­ery stroke.

Bryleeh also plays a num­ber of sports at a rep­re­sen­ta­tive level in­clud­ing soc­cer, soft­ball, Oz­tag and ath­let­ics.

Her fa­ther Brett Henry said de­spite her suc­cess, Bryleeh would be the last per­son to brag and the first per­son to put her friends first.

She signed up a cou­ple of her friends for soc­cer try­outs and con­vinced another to join her in fit­ness train­ing at St Marys Rip­ples Swimming Cen­tre.

“She would be more about hav­ing her friends play with her than to play for a rep­re­sen­ta­tive side,” Mr Henry said.
