A man, 44, will face court charged with high-range drink-driving after being pulled over by St Marys police on Eton Rd, at Cambridge Park, on Monday night. About 6.20pm, police were patrolling the area when a white Ford utility was signalled to stop by police. The man was subjected to a roadside breath test, which allegedly returned a positive reading. He was taken to St Marys police station, where he underwent a breath test that allegedly returned a positive reading of 0.195. The driver had his licence suspended. He is due to appear in Penrith Court on September 7.
ST MARYS St Marys police were patrolling the Kingswood area about 11pm on Monday, when they stopped a woman, 24, who was allegedly running through the driveway of a unit block. The woman was searched by police and it is alleged that items of mail, including bank cards and letters, were found.
