TAKE a lawyer and an industrial chemist turned marketing manager, add four children under five and a bath time dilemma and what do you get?

In the case of Cosi Towels, it’s a solution to the problem of making bath time fun.

Cosi Towels came out of a need for something sisters Tina and Jo Randello could not find for their own children.

“The options were limited and ranged from 50 shades of white to a zoo of animals,’’ Tina says.

“We were looking for something soft and luxurious to touch, playful design-wise for the kids but also stylish and colourful that we would be proud to leave hanging in the bathroom all day.”

Cosi, which honours the sisters’ Italian heritage, means “like this”.

“The range captures an empow- ering richness and opulence that is fun for children and gives instant glamour to any adult’s bathroom,” Tina says.

The other main drive was making bath time fun for fussy children.

“My young daughter hates to be dried so I just wrap her in the towel and by the time we’ve walked down the hallway to her change table, voila – she’s dry,’’ Tina says.

Jo adds: “Bath time has always been such a special time in our homes because it’s that time to bond. The girls really get a kick out of hiding under their towels and creating a little cubby house.”

The sisters say it’s about creating beautiful things.

“And nothing beats the happiness of cuddling our gorgeous children in the soft beauty of something we created,” Jo says.
