FROM the bridal gar­ments of NSW early set­tlers to the gown from Muriel’s Wed­ding, there is a story be­hind ev­ery wed­ding dress.

One of the big­gest col­lec­tions of wed­ding fash­ion ever seen in Aus­tralia is on dis­play at Old Gov­ern­ment House in Par­ra­matta un­til Novem­ber 1.

The Love, De­sire and Riches: The Fash­ion of Wed­dings ex­hi­bi­tion by Na­tional Trust NSW spans 200 years of bridal tra­di­tions.
