An arsonist is being blamed for a car fire at Erskine Park on Saturday night. About 9.45pm, a man walked outside his home to his car to find it had been set alight. The owner saw liquid which was also alight near the car. The fire caused minor damage to his car. He told police he saw a man aged in his 20s and wearing a grey jumper running from the scene. Witnesses are urged to come forward.
A man, 19, will face court charged with driving while disqualified at Colyton yesterday. About 9.10am, St Marys police stopped the car he was allegedly driving on Day St. He is due to appear in court at a later date.
CREEK Two men will face court in relation to the alleged ongoing supply of drugs. Following months of investigations, police arrested two men, aged 45 and 53, on Archbold Rd, Eastern Creek on Wednesday. Officers also searched two properties in Mt Druitt and Minchinbury and allegedly found cash, stolen property, and a quantity of heroin. The 45-year-old was charged with 14 offences including knowingly exposing a child to drugs. The 53-year-old was charged with seven offences .
