Craft lovers can combine learning crochet with tea drinking during the Sydney Design Festival. The Teacology Crochet Installation will be at the Powerhouse Museum and other venues from September 5-13. Teacology Crochet Installation will use crochet to reimagine the ritual of tea drinking and pay homage to crochet. Or if you fancy yourself as the next Banksy, make the most of the “Design A Decal” session at the Powerhouse Museum. Learn to design and create stencils and master the fine stencilling technique known as pochoir. In its 19th year, the design festival, presented by the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS), brings together people, ideas and activities from across the creative design sector. Sydney Design Festival will feature talks, workshops, demonstrations and displays.
