THE St Clair Crows un­der-11s team have over­come a dif­fi­cult sea­son last year to take out the Western Syd­ney Ju­nior AFL grand fi­nal.

The St Clair side took on the Emu Plains/Glen­more Park Lions at Spot­less Sta­dium on Sun­day win­ning 51-21.

Be­ing the first grand fi­nal for the team, nerves were high but the Crows started strong and con­tin­ued to lead through­out the game.

While rain started pour­ing down dur­ing the third quar­ter, club pres­i­dent David Pur­cell re­mained qui­etly con­fi­dent for a win.

More than 200 peo­ple turned up at the game to show their sup­port, along with in­jured Cooper Tor­rance who broke his arm at train­ing on Thurs­day.
