UNDER-11S TEAM EXCEED ALL EXPECTATIONS
THE St Clair Crows under-11s team have overcome a difficult season last year to take out the Western Sydney Junior AFL grand final.
The St Clair side took on the Emu Plains/Glenmore Park Lions at Spotless Stadium on Sunday winning 51-21.
Being the first grand final for the team, nerves were high but the Crows started strong and continued to lead throughout the game.
While rain started pouring down during the third quarter, club president David Purcell remained quietly confident for a win.
More than 200 people turned up at the game to show their support, along with injured Cooper Torrance who broke his arm at training on Thursday.
