Book the others too
RE: “Bad sign for speed cameras,” ( Mt Druitt-St Marys Standard, September 2).
They catch lots of people just over the speed limit but seldom seem to catch the outright dangerous speeders who are way over the limit.
As for making the roads safer, that would mean booking all the drivers that run red lights, have forgotten that their cars came with indicators, those who tailgate, those who overtake when it’s not allowed because they’re running late, drivers who use fog lights when it’s not foggy blinding oncoming traffic, those who forget to turn on their headlights at night, not giving way, use mobile phones while driving, etc.
When people realise these road rules are important too, then the roads will be safer for everyone.
