His mum Michelle Carroll said she was “proud, honoured and privileged” by her son’s personal dedication.
Ms Becci said she was honoured to be nominated for the employee award and didn’t expect to win.
“I’ve been in the service for 25 years and in this job for 18 years, I love what I do,” she said.
Police Legacy was also a big winner with Rotary Club of Mt Druitt donating a $3500 cheque to the cause.
Senior Constable Justin O’Gorman was the MC and entertainment was provided by the NSW Police Band.
Detective Superintendent Karen Webb, from Special Operations, attended as a special guest fresh from running a successful celebratory series to mark 100 years of women in policing.
She recalled her experiences with officers at Mt Druitt early in her career.
“Police who work in Mt Druitt have a special camaraderie; if I could patent it I would,” she said.
