Thanks for your help
ON JULY 7, my partner John was a pedestrian in the centre of the middle of Rooty Hill Road North waiting for traffic to clear so he could reach the other side of the road. It was almost lunchtime. A car drove out and hit John with the front bumper of his car.
This resulted in him being hit on his right knee, badly dislocating it.
The driver did not stop to offer any assistance.
He has since had a full knee replacement and is still having physiotherapy twice weekly for another month or more.
The purpose of this letter is to say a big thank you to all that appeared from nowhere to assist him.
Thank you especially to the staff from the chemist and our neighbour Cindy who drove to John’s aid immediately as I was not able to get there. OLLY GALAGHER,
