Footy legends star in men’s fitness drive

Mt Druitt - St Mary's Standard (East) - - NEWS -

FORMER league star Adam MacDougall is launching his online health program for men – and the best news is even a beer is allowed.

The Man Challenge provides men with structured 10-minute daily workouts and an accredited dietitian approved meal plan for a 10-week program.

The latest Western Sydney District Health figures reveal an alarming 66 per cent of adults over 18 in the Blacktown local government area are obese or overweight.

The program aims to improve fitness and health levels across the country.

“The big difference is that you get to do the workouts live on your mobile phone or computer with me or a sporting celebrity,” MacDougall said.

Participants are able to train alongside and challenge sporting stars including Mark Geyer, who grew up in Whalan, Israel Folau and Mitchell Pearce for workouts, with AFL coach Paul Roos providing messages of support and motivation.

MacDougall said The Man Challenge was suitable for men of all fitness levels and experience.

“It doesn’t matter how big or small you are, our program’s been developed to cater for the bloke who’s 80 years or older, or the bloke who’s really small,” he said. “The most important thing is that you get to do it with us, so we’re there to support you.” Register at themanchal
