Change clocks this week
Residents are being reminded to change their clocks this long weekend for daylight saving. People should turn their clocks and digital devices one hour forward at 2am on Sunday. Daylight saving started operating during WWI from January 1, 1917, to March 25 the same year and also during WWII for three summers, beginning on January 1, 1942. It was again introduced on October 31, 1971. For future summers, daylight saving in NSW begins at 2am on the first Sunday in October and ends at 3am on the first Sunday in April.
