Idea already dumped
RE: “Trek for trash’s big tag,” ( Mt Druitt-St Marys Standard, September 23).
I can’t understand why Blacktown ratepayers have to provide the funds for the council staffers and councillor to go overseas and study the environmental conditions of a waste incinerator.
Why do they want the information when it has already rejected a proposal by Dial-a-Dump to build one?
As a ratepayer, I object strongly to my money being wasted.
If Dial-a-Dump wants the council to reverse its decision, then they should be the ones to fund the trip. BERT BLACKWOOD,
