ST MARYS A woman, 33, will face court later this month charged with disqualified driving. About 7.40am on Monday, police stopped the woman on the Great Western Highway, St Marys for a random breath test, which returned a negative reading. However, checks of her licence revealed she was allegedly disqualified.
Two men have been fined for offensive behaviour after throwing bins at traffic on Friday night. Police were called to the Great Western Highway at St Marys about 11.35pm. One of the men, 18, allegedly became aggressive towards police. They were both fined.
ERSKINE PARK About 2.15am on Monday, two vehicles parked in Whistler Crescent were broken into and items stolen. The vehicles were examined by forensic officers as investigations continue. Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers.
OXLEY PARK Attempts to allegedly hide from police under blankets has failed for a man wanted on an outstanding warrant. Police were called to a home in Braddon St at Oxley Park about 8.10am on Saturday. When police arrived, a 27-year-old man allegedly attempted to run from the home. Police located the man allegedly hiding under blankets on a bed. He remains in custody.
