Police are investigating a crash at St Clair on Saturday morning. About 9pm, emergency services were called to the intersection of Mamre Rd and Banks Drive after a Ford utility and a Hyundai sedan collided. The Hyundai driver, a Warwick Farm man, 37, was taken to hospital with chest injuries and the driver of the Ford, a St Clair man, 49, was treated by paramedics at the scene. Investigations continue.
A man was charged on October 7 after three homes were allegedly broken into and ransacked last week. Police will allege a Doonside man, 26, broke into homes on Coveny St and Milson Rd and stole several items between September 26 and 28. He was charged with three counts of break and enter, to face Blacktown Court on October 30.
Two girls were left frightened after a man approached them as they played out the front of an Eggleton St unit block on October 7. Between 4pm and 4.30pm, the two 12-year-old girls were playing outside when a man allegedly drove past and stared at them. He allegedly repeated this. One girl ran inside and got her mother. The man allegedly approached the other girl to start a conversation. He is described as being caucasian with brown hair.
