Lin­den St, Mt Druitt Com­plaints from res­i­dents claim the lights on this street regularly fail, leav­ing the stretch in dark­ness. A LACK of street light­ing in He­ber­sham and Mt Druitt have topped the list of trou­ble spots se­lected by read­ers in NewsLo­cal’s Neigh­bourh hood Res­cue cam­paign.

Res­i­dents have made c com­plaints about Wel­wyn Rd at He­ber­sham only havi ing light on one side of the r road.

On Lin­den St, at Mt Drui itt, res­i­dents said the lights o of­ten failed to come on at all.

The same claim has been made for the lights on Beames Ave at Mt Druitt be­tween the train sta­tion and Ru­pertswood Rd

A Black­town Coun­cil s spokes­woman said the

Rcoun­cil car­ried out night in­spec­tions on a fort­nightly ba­sis in re­sponse to res­i­dent re­quests but is­sues were re­ported to En­deav­our Energy.

An En­deav­our Energy spokesman pointed to a new smart­phone ap­pli­ca­tion called The En­deav­our Energy Out­age App, where res­i­dents can re­port any is­sues di­rectly to the elec­tric­ity gi­ant.
