MULTI-AWARD-WIN­NING global mu­si­cian 8 Ball Aitken will kick off his Tour in a Mil­lion shows in Rooty Hill next week.

The tour fol­lows the suc­cess­ful re­lease of his eighth al­bum, The New Nor­mal.

8 Ball Aitken has be­come renowned for his de­vo­tion to mak­ing his shows en­gag­ing and en­ter­tain­ing the crowd.

He un­leashes a real party vibe with his funky, foot-stomp­ing en­er­getic and in­fec­tious blend of blues and coun­try rock.

In­hi­bi­tions dis­solve dur­ing his shows and be­fore you re­alise it, you’re on the packed dance floor, singing the cho­rus and play­ing a red ka­zoo.

The singer has re­ceived great re­views and chart recog­ni­tion since his de­but al­bum.

The New Nor­mal has also just been an­nounced as a fi­nal­ist in the South­ern Stars Aus­tralian In­de­pen­dent Coun­try Mu­sic Awards.

His 2014’s sin­gle She’s Go­ing to Mexico, I’m Go­ing to Jail also reached the top spot in coun­try charts and No. 2 on the blues charts.

Aitken will play at the Grass­roots Mu­si­cal Fes­ti­val and the Tam­worth Coun­try Mu­sic Fes­ti­val be­fore fin­ish­ing up in Jan­uary.
