A Colyton woman, 30, will face court next month af­ter she was al­legedly caught driv­ing while sus­pended twice on Thurs­day. Po­lice will al­lege about 9.35pm, she was stopped driv­ing a Ford ter­ri­tory on Ben­nett Rd, St Clair. Checks were made of her driver’s li­cence, re­veal­ing it was sus­pended. It is fur­ther al­leged the woman claimed to not know she was sus­pended from driv­ing. She was given writ­ten no­ti­fi­ca­tion of the sus­pen­sion and in­formed not to drive. Po­lice left the scene and re­turned a short time later and no­ticed the ve­hi­cle was no longer there. Po­lice will al­lege of­fi­cer’s at­tended the woman’s home ad­dress and saw the car drive into the woman’s drive­way and the woman get out. Again she was spo­ken to. She was is­sued a field court at­ten­dance no­tice for the of­fence of drive mo­tor ve­hi­cle while li­cence sus­pended.


ERSK­INE PARK An Ersk­ine Park man, 20, will face court next month on drug charges af­ter po­lice al­legedly found him sit­ting next to a bong in a park off Swal­low Drive. Po­lice will also al­lege they searched him and found a small plas­tic bag con­tain­ing cannabis in his pocket.
