A Colyton woman, 30, will face court next month after she was allegedly caught driving while suspended twice on Thursday. Police will allege about 9.35pm, she was stopped driving a Ford territory on Bennett Rd, St Clair. Checks were made of her driver’s licence, revealing it was suspended. It is further alleged the woman claimed to not know she was suspended from driving. She was given written notification of the suspension and informed not to drive. Police left the scene and returned a short time later and noticed the vehicle was no longer there. Police will allege officer’s attended the woman’s home address and saw the car drive into the woman’s driveway and the woman get out. Again she was spoken to. She was issued a field court attendance notice for the offence of drive motor vehicle while licence suspended.
ERSKINE PARK An Erskine Park man, 20, will face court next month on drug charges after police allegedly found him sitting next to a bong in a park off Swallow Drive. Police will also allege they searched him and found a small plastic bag containing cannabis in his pocket.
