Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a rob­bery in which thieves stole bath­room fix­tures last week. Po­lice were called to the Ri­val Place prop­erty af­ter some­one broke in be­tween 4.30pm on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 5, and 3pm on Satur­day, Novem­ber 7. Po­lice are en­cour­ag­ing res­i­dents to take pre­cau­tions due to a rise in break and en­ters in the area. Peo­ple should take ex­tra care while they are away and ask their neigh­bours to park in their driveways and keep an eye on their prop­erty. EMERTON Po­lice are search­ing for three men af­ter an as­sault oc­curred at a fast food restau­rant. Po­lice were called to the fast food restau­rant about 11.50pm on Sun­day af­ter a 14-year-old em­ployee was ap­proached by three males who de­manded his food. A fight broke out and teenager was as­saulted by one of the three men. Staff were forced to break up the fight be­fore the men left the store. Po­lice were called but were un­able to lo­cate the men. The men are de­scribed as be­ing Pa­cific Is­lan­der in ap­pear­ance.
