ONCE out of the formal study realm, it can be difficult to pick up where you left off.

A conduit to return to the world of learning is TAFE’s the Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation, a HSC-equivalent qualification.

It’s a recognised tertiary entrance qualification by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), NSW universities and some interstate universities.

Choices include English, history, human rights and legal studies, contemporary issues, Asia Pacific studies, maths, biology, chemistry, physics, communication and media and study and research skills.

This TAFE course is suit- able for students aged 17 and over who need a supportive, flexible and mature learning environment.

It is great for those who want a second chance at learning or to re-skill for a career change.

To do the TPC course, students need to make sure they have a realistic grasp on how much they can do in a week and plan a study timetable.
