Council devised plan
RE: “Outrage over tree removal,” ( Mt Druitt-St Marys Standard, November 11).
The trees are being removed because a lot of them are diseased and they are costing a fortune in repairs to roofs, pipes and the footpaths.
Their (Penrith Council’s) plan is to remove them, before they rip everything else up and re-do it, and then more suitable trees and gardens will be put back.
