“She was found naked from the waist down, her new runners have still never been found,” she said.

Ms Nowland has set up a Facebook page called Justice For Michelle in the hope someone with information will come forward so her daughter’s case can be reopened.

“The case needs to be reinvestigated. Someone out there knows something and my daughter deserves justice to be served,” Ms Nowland said.

“I just want this nightmare to end.”

Since setting up the page, Ms Nowland said a few people had come forward, with one saying they had seen Michelle in an argument with someone at the party.

“If anyone can remember anything from that night, please come forward,” she said. “I can’t rest while the person responsible is still out there.”

Ms Nowland said she planned to visit a psychic.

State Crime Command’s Ddetective Chief Inspector John Lehmann said police would continue to investigate the 11-year-old murder.

“A $100,000 reward remains on offer and anyone with information is urged to come forward,” he said.
