by Santa stops day before busy

WITH just 24 more sleeps until Christmas, Santa Claus — one of the most popular men this time of year – has been busy visiting all the good boys and girls of Plumpton.

He has been returning to Plumpton Marketplace for more than 15 years and while most of the kids are nice, Santa had a few children to add to his naughty list.

“I had a young boy who was impeccably dressed, he came up and sat on my lap, stared straight at the camera and stuck his middle finger up at it,” Santa said. “Most of the children are well behaved, but Santa can get thrown up on from time to time.”

While traditional toys were trending again this year — lots of boys and girls are asking for Barbies or Thomas the Tank engines — digital requests were also popular including selfie sticks.

“Kids have been asking for Barbies or for Thomas the Tank, but iPads and computer games are always popular,” Santa said.

Santa will be appearing at Plumpton Marketplace from 10am everyday.
